The Blessing of Serving Others

Eph.2:10  

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

This is a very interesting challenge that is placed upon us today in our church and in our lives. If we could only see and understand that serving God is a privilege rather than a burden or a must, there is no reason for us not to honor Him though our services.

We are very blessed to know that He is the one who gave us the ability to serve Him by serving others and we have to understand that even the very gifts, talents and abilities we are or will be using to serve Him actually comes from Him, so it is more beneficial to us than to God when we come to terms with this reality.

We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, those work or ministries He has prepared in advance for us to do. So as far as God is concerned, He has already prepared the work that needs to be done ahead. All we need to do is to listen to His call and do what He wants us to do.

You can even check your hearts desire in what areas or what ministries you want to see yourself serving in an excellent way, and as you do, you will sense the beat of your heart for having the burden of seeing the fruit of your labor.

Serving God at the prime of your life doesn’t represent any range of age, status or even gender, it is open for everybody, to anyone who are willing to believe in an awesome God and be used by Him to accomplish His plan and purpose in this world.
