Proverbs 4:25-27 NIV
25 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.
26 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. 27 Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
ON THIS SERIES
1. The subject
of this series is something that is harder for any person, especially at this
time and age.
2. It emphasizes
the need for focus, to fix one's eyes on "What is before
you?"
3. It wasn’t
good enough to just look down at the path we were taking; we needed to think
about the path we were traveling.
4. To do
that, we must not be distracted by all the things around us on the path.
OUR MAIN FOCUS
Running the race with perseverance, the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on the Lord Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.
